2023 HWPL Global Peace Leader's Conference


On September 18th, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) began the event commemorating the 2014 HWPL World Peace Summit, Under the theme of “Implementation of a Multidimensional Strategies for Institutional Peace.” This year’s event will examine the key achievements of the agreements signed that day, and establish future plans.

In the year 2014, HWPL officially announced the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) which suggest solution for conflicts around the world and to realize the global peace. DPCW was created through the collaboration of the world’s leading international law experts.


During this year’s summit, about 30 sessions will be held with the topics of international law, religion, education, media, women, youth and etc.The first and main session of the summit is ‘HWPL Global Peace Leader’s Conference.’ Chairman Manhee Lee emphasized the practice of peace again while delivering commemorative remarks. Chairman Lee, saying that weapons must be absent in order to not have wars, called upon adoption of DPCW as a UN resolution to global leaders.


Emil Constantinuescu, former president of Romania, has been working together with Chairman Lee for a long time for global peace. During his congratulatory remark, he reminded everyone the importance of education in realizing peace culture.

Hon. Ahod B. Ebrahim, AI haj, the chief minister of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Philippines appraise the peace work of Chairman Lee who played an important role in signing peace agreement in Mindanao in 2014. He stated that thanks to HWPL’s peace work, the poorest region is now became the second fastest growing region.

Three global leaders delivered speeches during the session. Dr. Gamal Suliman, assistant professor & designated dean, gave speeches calling for a peaceful resolution of the Sudan conflict. Dr. Nergui Sainbuyan made a remark about religious alliance for peace and how this was possible with HWPL. Mrs. Nataliia Kutsenko promoted the institutionalization of peace through education in her speech.

Pledging for the world peace, recitation and signing ceremony was arranged to wrap up the session. Main session was closed with special performances.
