IWPG Global 8 and INLW Sign Peace Partnership MOU
Expanding Global Peace Partnerships
On September 18 in Cheongju, the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Global 8 signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the International Network of Liberal Women (INLW), marking a new step in accelerating global peace activities through women’s leadership. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Eun-hee, Director of IWPG Global 8, and Khadija El Morabit, President of INLW, along with Ruth Richardson, INLW Secretary-General and Advisor, who visited Korea to participate in the 2025 World Women’s Peace Conference.
Founded in 1990 and headquartered in the Netherlands, INLW is an international NGO that promotes liberal values, women’s empowerment, and greater participation of women in politics.
Areas of Cooperation
Under the new agreement, IWPG and INLW pledged close cooperation in multiple fields:

Jointly hosting peace forums across regions

Providing peace education programs for women and children

Supporting the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) in the process of becoming international law

Promoting peace culture and arts activities

Advancing human rights–based peace initiatives

Encouraging women’s active roles in peacebuilding through global campaigns
