Peace Education of HWPL - Opportunity in the Midst of Crisis
In a world marred by conflicts, the need for universal values such as peace is more crucial than ever. Despite the ongoing challenges, there is a growing number of individuals advocating for peace, exemplified by the work of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and its peace education initiatives. This blog post explores HWPL's efforts to nurture peace advocates worldwide, with a particular focus on the impact of their programs in Madagascar.

Introduction of Madagascar
Peace Education in Madagascar
Madagascar people feel great sympathy for the
necessity of HWPL’s Peace Education. Many schools and education organizations
have signed MOU with HWPL. Also, 26 teachers have received training to become
peace educator, actively participating in peace education activities around the
country.

In February 2023, two peace camps were held
in Madagascar. Participated by 627 students in total, both educators and
students shared positive reactions about these camps. Participated students
testified that understanding and respecting others with love are key to peace.
Among them is Jean Joseph Labeareavelo, who said that through this camp he was
able to understand true meaning of peace and love. He assured that peace
activities like HWPL’s will lead the youth to peace and to achieve world peace.

Educators like Lanto Landrianarisu, the member of SOA-Assoa Education and Tourism Association, mentioned that the camp brought changes in students’ attitude, making them to become one. He added the importance of helping students to understand love and value of peace.
In these two camps, students engaged in
activities centered on the Peace Education 1, focusing on creating rules for order
and peace based on original state of world’s creation, such as making rules for
order and peace and writing letters to Chairman Manhee Lee, the Messenger of
Peace.

HWPL's Peace Education Initiatives - Step Forward to Bright Future
As Madagascar grapples with its unique
societal challenges, HWPL's peace education initiatives are making significant
strides. Through collaborative efforts with schools, educators, and parents,
the organization is sowing the seeds of peace in the hearts and minds of the
Malagasy youth. The testimonials from students and educators alike echo the
belief that peace education is a transformative force, paving the way for a
more harmonious and united future in Madagascar and beyond.
