In today's world, rife with global
inequalities and conflicts, the significance of peace has never been more
pronounced. Amid these challenging times, private initiatives are dedicating
themselves to the global pursuit of peace. Among them, Heavenly Culture, World
Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), led by Chairman Lee Man Hee, stands out for
its international efforts. The sincere peace initiatives of HWPL and the
genuine commitment of its representative have inspired individuals from various
backgrounds, whether politicians or journalists, to unite in support. Among
those who embraced this sentiment was the late Simon Lokodo, the former
Chairman of the Uganda Human Rights Commission.

The Late Simon Lokodo and His Relationship with HWPL
The late Simon Lokodo, a former member of the
Western Region Parliament, Ethics and Integrity Minister, and Chairman of the
Uganda Human Rights Commission, actively involved in upholding justice, law,
and order, with a primary focus on respecting and safeguarding human rights. Simon's
introduction to HWPL came through the HWPL Uganda branch, leading to his
involvement in advocating global support for the reunification of North and
South Korea. Simon played a pivotal role in sharing information about HWPL with
the President of Uganda, garnering support for the cause. He admires HWPL's
mission, which emphasizes respecting diversity and the pursuit of a united
world.

Simon's Acknowledgement on HWPL
Reflecting on Uganda's tumultuous past, over 20
years of war, lack of welfare, education, food and social development, Simon
expresses deep admiration for HWPL's aim to restore peace and unity among
people regardless of their skin color, race, religion, continent, language, and
political stance. He was fascinated by HWLP’s effort for peaceful world, a
united world, and a world where people cherish each other.
