Lee Man-hee, who works for peace.
Here is a person who is talking to the world "We are One."
He is none other than Man-hee Lee, the Chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), the world’s largest peace NGO. Chairman Lee, who started his peace work by proclaiming the “The Declaration of World Peace”, which is a platform known for peace practices around the globe. Peace activist Man-hee Lee’s journey around the world ( about 70 counties ) for peace is more than 29 times.
Chairman, Man-hee Lee of HWPL is saying that everyone who loves and wants peace should become a messenger of peace by having gone beyond national boundaries, race and religions.
He visited many places around the globe and proclaimed the cessation of wars and world peace. He received signed peace treaties from former and current presidents, chief justices, university chancellors, various organization leaders, and various religious leaders.
Man-hee Lee is the descendant of a Korean royal family of the Joseon Dynasty, a house with 500 years of history Born in 1931 from a rural farming region, Man-hee Lee was given his name, meaning complete light, by his grandfather. Man-hee Lee is a living witness to many of the historical events that occurred in Korea. He is also a man of merit as he fought in the frontline of battle during the Korean War.
Once discussing his experience in the Korean War he revealed, “I fought as a frontline combatant. Words cannot describe the horrors of war. Bullets poured down like rain. Sounds of fighter jets and bombs shook your heart. Only youths could have put up with that. After the war, half of the population was gone. In some villages, just a few survived. There were many students among the soldiers. Those young students died at the frontline. Some people blamed the government because young people went to war and those in authority did not. So many young people perished during the Korean War without getting the opportunity to blossom. How fair was that? We suffered much during the Japanese colonial period. Not long after we gained our independence, we declared war against each other. It could not be helped back then, no matter how much you cried”.
As a young man in the 1950s, Chairman Lee volunteered in the Korean War. The views of his comrades dying right by him affected him tremendously and taught him the disaster that war is capable of creating. This experience influenced him to start this peace movement to end all wars.
Mr. Man-hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL said, every individual in the global society is responsible for constructing global peace. He further said, “Rather than taking peace for granted, we are the ones to put an end to wars to protect humanity and our globe and leave peace as a legacy for future generations”. Under the current global environment shaded by long-term violence around the world including terrorism and interethnic conflicts, international society is seeking conflict resolution through a long-term approach to peace and stability.
This is what Man-hee Lee delivers and conveys to the world and what HWPL is doing.
HWPL has been doing the work of peace with definite solutions that can put an end to all wars around the world and leave a legacy of world peace to future generations. HWPL transcends culture, religion, ideology, and other boundaries to achieve peaceful harmony in the global society.
HWPL is committed to bringing world peace and cessation of war through the establishment of an enforceable law compatible with the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW) and the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace(WARP) offices.

Ppl are always striving for revolutions for their own power or benefit, I'm so glad that there's still ppl genuinely working for peace bit by bit, not for political power or anything, just for people, for us and our family

ReplyDeleteThank you very much! We need to work together for peace!
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced that Chairman Lee has the answer to ending wars through the DPCW. If all 193 heads of state make their vote to enact the DPCW at the United Nations this year, wars must come to an end.
