IPYG hostes peace walk on Human rights day


IPYG is an International Peace Youth Group and it has many youth including university students among countries. It has morre than 150 youth from different local organizations and community members participated in South African.

In commemoration and raising awareness for the 21th of March Human Right Day in South Africa, IPYG hosted 'Peace walk' at Freedom square, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.



The event was started by the speech of youth leaders representing the KwaZulu-Natal Chirstian Council(KZNCC), President of Student Representative Council, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Peace Marritzburg and IPYG.

After speech, the youth with faces full of hope started their peace walk. During peace walk, the youths shouthed in one voice, "We want Peace!" with a message to deal with the society's controversial issue xenophobia, racism, and human rights.

a youth said, 'Everyone here should share the same right to equality life, liverty, personal security, asylum in other countries and freedom from discrimination and persecution. The youth of today share the responsibility and desire to be united. We will work together to leave a peaceful world as a legacy for the future generation."


* IPYG is as one of the two wings of Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light(HWPL, Chairman Man Hee Lee), IPYG's aim is to combine people from different life in an attempt to create unity and tolefance amongst all people within our diverse community. Recently, IPYG has hosted a xenophobia awareness campaign with four pieetermaritzburg schools where they portrayed their views on Xenophobia.
