Religious leaders discussed religious conflicts in Ottawa for world peace.
At the 24th of Oct. There was World Alliance of Religions' Peace (WARP) Office in Ottawa, Canada. Ottawa is the capital of Canada and it stands on the South bank of the Ottawa river in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario. It is a beautiful city and peaceful mood.
This WARP summit folled by the first WARP office at the 5th of Sep. In this summt, for prominent religious leaders attended and gave a speech. The topic was "Reason for arising of conflict from religion."
The special thing was "Peace based on Scripture" and they shared their opinion freely. so that they told they realized their tasks and roles to achieve world peace. It was unfamiliar to compare their religious scripture.
But, Actually, there are many conflicts caused by regligion. so, they gathered a place to discuss to resolve tensions among religons.
One of the speakers said,
"The conflicts may be intra-religious or inter-religious conflicts: Different scts in the same religion are basically there these sects don't comply with the principles of their parent religion. So the followers of these sects have arguments and fights among themselves."
This is amazing solution and I admit Chairman ManHee Lee of HWPL. because sharing of comparison of religious scripture is his though. HWPL established by Chairman ManHee Lee, is Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. they hosted WARP offices have opened 103 offices in over 53 countries including Toronto, Canada, Seven regions in USA, and Tijuana in Mexico in North America.
HWPL explained the reason why we need to have WARP offices.
"Heaven gives us light, rain and air without cost. If religious people who recieve such teachings and blessing firmly stick to their scriptures and cause conflicts in the world, they are going wrong way against true meaning of relgion. 80% of conflicts of the world are due to religion. If relgions become united, there will be for less reasons to break war. The unification of religious text is a way of unification of religions."
With the strong support from Canadians who wish to work together for world peace. It is highly expected that the 3rd and 4th WARP offices of Ottawa will be held in November and December in Series on a religious basis.
