UN DPI stands for the United Nations Department of Public Information.
NGOs seeking association with DPI must meet strict criteria. The organization must support and respect the principles of the Charter of the United Nations. The NGO must also be reputable at the national, regional r international level and operate at a not for- profit basis with its own information outreach program. Only organizations that have a good track record of past work with UN Agencies can become associated HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairman Man Hee Lee) has met ehese standards on an interantional scope and haproven through its praticipation at numerous conference at the UN, through organizing the World Alliance of Religions' Peace (WARP) summit and various peace workshops, meetings, and activities globally.
* What it the UN DPI exactly?
UN DPI stands for the United Nations Department of Public Information.
UN DPI works closely with NGOs (Non-Governmental organizations) to help the public gain a better understanding the goals of organizations. It also allows organizations to work more closely with the UN on various levels.
HWPL can also work ith the UN to help collect data for the Post 2015 development agenda and can design and implement public information activities and programs including the printing and dissemination of publications promoting the work of the United Nations. Since the association with DPI, HWPL has been featured in the NGO DPI Announcements in the "NGO Spotlight" - where its vision and goal was outlined and noted for volunteerism and effort toward peaceful resolution
