Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) moved in Xenophobia war

- The wind of peace begins to blow in Durban, South Africa

The xenophobic violence which started in Durban, South Africa in early April left 8 kiled, 6,000 lost their homes, and many stores were either robbed or set alight by frustrated civilians. At the crucial point in time, over 50 religious leaders from 5resions and students from Durban University of Technology (DUT) Peace-building Programe gathered for the first WARP office (World Alliance of Religions' Peace) meeting which was co-hosted by the Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) and the Durban Baha'i Center. The meeting aims to resolve religious misunderstanding as well as address issues regarding difference and peace building in the South African nation.

If all religions could be united as one, there will be no more confilct or wars.

With this belief, the WARP offices started by Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL, are constructing a close relationship with youth and women organizations as well as peace activists worldwide. During the meeting at the Durban Baha'i center, the religious leaders delivered speeches on behalf of each religion. Afterwards, in 'O/X (Yes or No) Question Session' , the religious leaders answered questions related to "Creation" n their scripture by using hand- held panels. Through this peaceful method, religious leaders were offered an opportunity to understand each other's scripture on a deeper level.

The host said,
"We believe that once religions really come together then the world can becomea more peaceful place. World Peace- we don't say It's possible we say It's inevitable, it will be, it's part of the evolution of humanity."

With a definitive answer to why there are constant conflicts and wars that threaten peace, why we need a world without war, and how we can create a world of peace, Mr. Lee emphasizes that the main reason for conflicts in human history is because there is an absence of an International law that can bring all wars to an end. Accordingly, he appeals to the world to work together to enact an International law for the cessation of war, and is currently travelling the global asking Presidents and influential leaders to sign an agreement which will give effect to this.

The second cause for war, he explains, is that wars are caused by religious differences and all religions should be united as one within the will of the Creator - the founder of religion. In order for all religions to be united, religious scriptures should be unified into the most trustworthy one first.

While the wind of peace is blowing strongly in South Africa, the HWPL WARP office meeting in Durban is expected to be the begining of the culture of peace that replaces religious and racial conflict in the country. The participants ensured that the meeting will bring a better fortune - peace to South Africa.
